Cleo Cho

An advocate for entrepreneurship.
An advocate for social impact.

I stand at the intersection of business and social change.

My approach to finding purpose is to be the bridge between worlds—through entrepreneurship and social awareness—to drive lasting, meaningful change.

Guiding Principle

1. Pillars of social care.

Growing up in a family devoted to providing social services for people facing mental health challenges, I was immersed in an environment of compassion, respect, and non-judgment. At the same time, I witnessed the real gaps in social care—hidden separation, ignorance, and exclusion. There is still something in the air we don’t see, don’t hear, and don’t speak about.

This upbringing shaped my perspective and instilled in me a deep belief in the power of social care and in building sustainable systems. Surrounded by these values, I developed a strong foundation of trust and integrity—one that continues to guide how I treat individuals and how I approach every aspect of life.

At my core, I am committed to supporting communities in becoming the best version of themselves, so they can make a truly meaningful impact. Authenticity and care are not just principles I believe in — they are at the heart of everything I do.

2. Pursuit of entrepreneurship.

I first encountered entrepreneurship in college. I had always planned to study business and management, knowing they form the foundation of every industry, which led me to pursue an MBA. But I was searching for something deeper—the driving force behind businesses, the science at the root of every industry. When I discovered entrepreneurship, it felt like uncovering a hidden part of myself, as if I had finally found the path that truly resonated with me.

I am deeply grateful to Dr. Bowers for opening the door for me to step into entrepreneurship. I was able to explore this field freely, which ultimately led me to continue my education by pursuing a master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and in a tech startup. It gave me the freedom to define what entrepreneurship means to me and to grow within it. Today, I continue to specialize in entrepreneurship—not just as a field of study, but as a way to empower others to turn their ideas into lasting impact.

Entrepreneurship is about having the courage to ask why, the courage to identify core problems, and the courage to find the real solutions that lead to a sustainable and lasting growth of a venture. My journey is about more than business; it’s about fostering innovation, supporting bold thinkers, and helping others step into their full potential.

3. Dare to Grow.

Growth is not something that can be forced—it is a choice, a calling that must come from within. Through my experiences, I have learned that no one can change unless they are truly ready. But for those who have a burning desire to grow, yet struggle to recognize their true potential, a single spark of encouragement can ignite something extraordinary. When given the right support, that small flicker of hope can turn into an unstoppable force—like a phoenix rising from the ashes.

I have always been driven to help those who are ready to step into their commitment to contribute to society, whether they are individuals, startups, SMBs, organizations, or corporations. My role is not to change the world, but to build safe and sustainable systems that offer a sneak peek—an opportunity to uncover what has been hidden. To lift the veil. To reveal what is yet to be unraveled.

I can point the path, but the step must come from each of us.

Core Discipline

Entrepreneurship is not just about building a business and establishing a business model that generate profits —it’s also a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Through identifying opportunities, solving problems, and overcoming challenges, entrepreneurs gain valuable insights into their strengths, resilience, and self-awareness. This journey fosters both professional growth and a deeper understanding of one’s potential.

Authenticity

Being authentic is hard—lonely at times, and yet liberating.
We live in a culture that often rewards performance and visibility, even when it comes without substance or integrity. This performative bias—where appearance matters more than truth—can pressure us to hide our true selves. In a world that prioritizes image over honesty, authenticity begins to feel risky, even frightening.

But what if we made space for something different?
What if we gave ourselves just a little more room to be honest—to show up as we are, not as we think we should be?

Social Impact

To do, we must act. For a long time, the motto of social impact and social care has been expressed through donations, supportive words, and messages of encouragement. But in truth, real social impact comes from an individual’s genuine contribution—rooted in the core of true awareness.

Until now, social support has often been support with an empty core—like a bell without its clapper, a flame without warmth. It has looked whole on the outside, yet lacked the essence to create true change. Real impact begins with awareness: seeing what is real, understanding what is real—through your own eyes, through your own skin.
